| There are some external links that may be posted, and some that may not be.
External URLs that are allowed:
video montages
gaming related YouTube vidoes (non-gaming related goes in Off Topic Discussions)
links to game trailers
links to any game art (concept art, paintings, etc)
links to news and press releases involving games and game consoles
links to image hosting sites (ImageShack, Photobucket, etc) containing gaming related pictures (non-gaming related goes in Off Topic Discussions)
External URLs that will not be allowed
links to anything of pornographic nature
links to any other gaming forum without approval from forum Admin
links to any other game review page without approval from forum Admin
links to anything of inappropriate nature (if the average person would find this inappropriate, do not post it. if it is borderline, ask the Admin or Moderator)
As you can see, I allow more than what I do not allow. It's simple; I will let members post links to anything gaming related. I will not let members post links to anything that may be deemed inappropriate or anything that may be an advertisement to another site. You might not mean for it to be an advertisement, but any new member that walks in and sees a link to another site, might not take it for what it is, and stay on as a member here, but not post anything.
Pornographic and inappropriate nature links are obvious. If I ever see them I will delete them and ban the responsible member for 10-days (then 20, then 30, then 40...).
I realize this is a lot to post on one policy but just use common sense please...if you don't think I want it on the boards, don't post it. If you have anything you'd like to add to this list, post a reply here.
