100 Reasons Why the 360 Owns!!

This'll be easy

All we have to do, is on every post, put at least one reason why the Xbox 360 is better than any other console. Let's try and make it to 100! You can name games, features, accessories, anything.

1) nobody else has the Xbox Guide Button!

2) the Play & Charge Kit is a total lifesaver...I'd be broke by now from buying batteries every two days!

"The Wii" or the PS3 don't stand a chance. There was untapped potential in the original Xbox that wasn't fully used, then out came the 360. Microsoft is Sony's worst nightmare.

The Darkness is wicked cool. I actually want to play the full game instead of just the demo.


21. Two words: Mass Effect.

Like I said, the darkness had its drawbacks, like the ending, but its worth buying. It's also short, but by the end of the game, it doesn't really feel short, because so much story and side missions are covered.

26. I have never heard of an Xbox 360 hard drive "crashing" or having a "critical fault error".


Once again, a quality issue.

It's funny, I was in Target a while back (if you don't know Target, it's like Wal-Mart, but a lot classier) and noticed in the electronics department the good ol' Guitar Hero II guitar hanging from the Xbox 360 station. A couple steps down in the Sony section, the PS3's screen was blank except for these words "System encountered a critical hard drive error. Go to sony.com for support"

That's not the only time I've seen it, in multiple stores.

Ah, the feeling of owning the superior console.

Although Nate, I have had to replace my Xbox as a result of getting the Red ring of Death. Both consoles are amazingly unstable because their processors are just too f**king complicated for their own good. IBM needs a few lessons on how to develop a console CPU that doesn't try to suffocate itself in the chassis of your beloved console. I think new 360's are on 65nm so overheating shouldn't be much of a problem anymore. But for those of us still on the original batch...

27. Good controller design. The Xbox controller is the best traditional controller I've ever used. Although I favor the Controller S slightly more on the original Xbox... I still think it is of very good design.

28. Xbox controller is also compatible with the PC, if you buy one of those wireless adapters for your PC... and I have to say as an emulator guy, it is fun playing the original super mario brothers with an Xbox controller.... Ahhhh progress!!!

Yeah, as soon as I can afford a late model Elite, I'll be picking one up. I have read that the components in the Elite are better, and the heat shield can withstand more heat, without crap melting.

And as far as the 360 controllers go: undoubtedly the coolest controller ever. For real. Not even kidding.

I'm so happy! I just got a black 360 controller! It looks really good.
