Greed...

Well, I think everyone here knows xbox live costs I believe $7 a month...And if you multiply that by 12 its $84 a year...

Then multiply that by (lets be light and say there are only 6 mill xbox live acc...) and you get $504,000,000 a year...

Bill Gates is one of the richest men in the world and yet he still nickels and dimes him costumers while his competitors such and Nintendo and Sony (who I hate...) make there entire systems benefits free (once the system is bought)...

I know that tons of people like xbox live so they put up with it but when you thing about it he is a really greedy man...

I think they charge more because Sony and Nintendo can't compete with Xbox Live. Neither company has an online service that even comes close to being as good as Xbox Live. And to get the good stuff, you need to dish out a little dough.

But yes it does suck. That's a lot of money to most people.

over here we only have to pay 30 pounds a year which i guess is nearly the same...

and as for the mighty bill he may seem greedy but he gives a third of his yearly profits to help cure TB
