I just picked up this piece. Going to the range to pratice.
Nate any thoughts on this...Smith and Wesson .40 Sigma

I got it so I can take my CCW test.

NICE You should get a D Eagle

Nice! From what I hear, Sigma is basically a Glock, and with 16 round mags ..you can never go wrong.

Yeah I researched it after I got it...lol and I heard it was just like a glock.

It's just something to practice with for my Concealed weapons permit.

You can't really go wrong with a S&W, period. And if you ever need to use it, even if you miss your target 8 times in a row because you're so damn nervous, you still get 8 more shots! a bargain!

Hopefully will never have to use it like that... but hopefully time at the range will help me not miss...lol

Once I get my Glock I'm going to shoot everyday. I'll start a budget for .40 rounds. I plan on knowing my gun like the back of my hand. Because once you need to use it, you want to make a perfect shot, and nothing less.

Yeah this is my first piece so I will be shooting it alot. Arizona has alot of gun ranges plus you can go out into the desert and let off a few rounds.
So I will learn how to clean it and all that jazz. From what I here Wal-Mart has the ammo pretty cheap.

So did the guns and lisence cost you a lot? Lol, I never knew Wal-Mart sold ammo. I thought they sold groceries etc. Good Lord. Where did you get it from?

Lol!! I had to stop and think where you were from. UK doesn't have Wally Worlds? Wal-Mart will sell everything. Guns, ammo, cigarettes, alcohol, you name it. Oh and yes, groceries. Lol

Have taken my test yet...it's actually a permit to carry.

I got the handgun for $275 off a friend.
