PostSubject: Assassin's Creed   Assassin's Creed Icon_minitimeSun Mar 16, 2008 1:51 pm

I just now played Assassin's Creed for the first time. I haven't gotten too far and I'm just learning the ropes. I still don't know if I like the whole memory block idea, its cool, but what's wrong with just being an assassin living in that time era? And that whole tutorial?? Weird. Oblivion never jumped back and forth from the Renaissance to 2006, and Oblivion was as religious minded as any game I've ever seen.

Incredible graphics though, and the controls take a little getting used to. I'm on my way to go play it at my buddy's...he has an HDTV.

Well, once you get used to it, it's really cool, in my opinion.

Yeah things just take some getting used to.

It looks like it came off like I didn't like the game. I really enjoy it. The graphics job on it is just spectacular on an HDTV. As you further progress in the game, you kinda realize the whole purpose for the "memory block" idea. Its a fantastic game. Any word on a sequel?

It does get repetitive but I couldn't help but to keep playing it...
I'm sure there is a part 2 in the works....

Yeah, the graphics are pretty cheesy... and the gameplay kinda sucks from what I've seen of Altair's Chronicles (the DS prologue).

I don't think the DS should be considered a "next-gen" console. So why, is Altair's Chronicles on DS?! It should be downloadable on Live.

Actually... I would be pretty offended by it being on xbox... It looks really dumb. They pretty much made an arcade version of Assassin's Creed. It just doesn't cut it.

Good game, good story. But just didn't keep me interested. I still need to complete the game, just that I really can't be bothered to complete it, I'd rather play CoD4, The Orange Box, or Rainbow Six Vegas 2. It's still great for a phew hours, and I think is an acomplishment for a game that was like Prince of Persia, it didn't seem like a game that would be sold in it's millions for X-mas.
