| As soon as I put the game in my 360 for the very first time, I knew I was in for something. The game starts you out as a young soldier named Soap. Your very first task is to go through an obstacle course, set up like the inside of a small ship. The catch: the time to beat is under 20 seconds. The game offers countless memorable moments; every mission has at least something you'll remember about it later on. I haven't played Modern Warfare for almost an entire day, and many moments still vividly stick out in my mind. This game can be extremely (and when I say extremely, I mean probably one of the toughest things I've ever done) difficult. Depending on how quickly you completed the ship obstacle course in the beginning, the game suggests a difficulty setting for you based upon your finish time. I picked the "Regular" mode, since I eventually ended up with a score of 25 seconds, and a "Hardened" rating. The next difficulty setting is "Veteran", and below that it says "You will not survive". Let's just say it like this: I've been playing Xbox 360 for a while now, and I've NEVER come across a game like this. Some moments in this game are the toughest you will ever enconter, and I sincerely mean that. You will die, you will swear and throw your controller, and at times, you will be on the edge of your seat, literally turning your body and controller trying desperately to get out of a sinking cargo ship. I found myself on different occasions holding my breath while a partner and I in ghillie suits crawled right past enemies in a hay field. The game's graphics and sounds are second to none, and everything this game does seems like it's the best I've ever seen. PROS: Excellent graphics, sound, plot line, and controls. CONS: Difficult!! Be prepared to work for your medals. Xbox 360 Forum's Rating: 10 | |

| Call Of Duty 4 is probable the best overall game I have ever played. I would give it the same rating.... The only thing I wish was it never ended. Lol. It was a good length but all good games seem "too short"...... | |

| I just bought it tonight, and ive been amazed by it. Im so glad they stopped making Call of Duty WWII games. I mean, they were fun, but there was so much talent being wasted there. | |

| by the way, i was looking at the back of call of duty 4, and it says that you need a paid subscription. does that mean you need xbox live? or does it mean that you have to have xbox live AND pay extra? because ive had games that need extra too. | |

Do you mean just to play the game? I'm pretty sure it's in regards to being able to play it on XBOX live.

| WOW... i just finished COD4. all i can say is wow... - Spoiler:
so many things were awesome in the ending. 1.The second to the last level (not including the epilogue which was also awesome) was so tense, and hard (i was playing on hardened). 2. The whole car chase scene was awesome, and 3.Shooting that bad guy (i cant remember his name) from the ground was so satisfying! also, the epilogue was really cool. it reminded me a lot of the rainbow six series.

| I did that Mile High mission in Arcade mode after I beat the game, it was sweet. I wish they had more SWAT/Bravo team type missions like that. | |

| yeah arcade mode is pretty fun, too! i agree with the whole swat thing. i was really impressed with the variety in COD4 though.
the only thing i didnt like in it was killing those dogs... i like dogs too much... i was so sad, but happy when i got the "down boy, down" achievement. happy for the achievement, but sad that i didnt kill a cat or a pigeon for it... WHY A DOG???? (oops i wrote God at first... that completely changes the meaning of my last sentence)

| Definatley the best present you can get, it's a good game, up there with Orange Box.
I think the reason it's so popular is because it's an online game, with a strong story, do you agree?
